Here is given some formula for calculate the coefficient of friction based to the bar temperature 

Coefficient of Friction(μ)

For steel Roll

T= bar temperature 

1.06 - (0.000278 × T)

For CI Roll

0.8 × (1.06 -(0.000278 × T)
